SUNS OUT BUNS OUT….
Summer begins next week and I’ve already made five trips to the beach so far this year. The beach is very much a part of me after visiting every other weekend as a child and then living in Wilmington for six years. If I could be living at the beach right now, I would. My wardrobe would mainly consist of bikinis, cover ups, and boho chic dresses.
Finding a quality bathing suit was, initially, very difficult for me. I’m a 32 DD and wear I size SMALL for bottoms. I’m unproportionate, as many women are, and buying bathing suits can be difficult. Most online retailers these days offer swim suit’s as a pair and you can only order the top and bottom in one size. NOT ALL WOMEN’S BODY ARE ONE SIZE.
Over the years my style has evolved and there are a few brands that I gravitate towards that fit my body type and my personal style. These include brands like Alibon, L*Space, and Monday Swimwear. Some of these suits are on the pricier side, but I can justify the cost when I find suits that make me feel confident when I’m the most exposed. As I get older I realize that it’s better to invest in timeless, quality pieces. Solids, stripes, and neutrals will never go out of style and are always a safe buy. I’ve rounded up a few of my favorites below so you can shop this look and a few of my favorites.
